Due to ongoing business growth, we have an exciting new opportunity for Mechanical Fitters to join our team in Chinchilla, QLD on a permanent basis. This is a highly flexible role, with available rosters including 5/2, 8/6, 7/7 or 14/14.

The mechanics of the role

This role will encompass both workshop and site duties throughout the Toowoomba and Surat Basin region.

Your core duties will include completing equipment overhauls, and carrying out preventative maintenance such as:

  • Wellsite maintenance;
  • Valve replacements;
  • Water treatment plants;
  • Flange management;
  • Pipe threading and installation; and
  • Remote and installing tubing.

How you will fit into the team

To thrive in this role, you will possess a Mechanical or Diesel Fitter trade qualification and previous experience working onsite in a mining or oil and gas environment. The following tickets would be an advantage:

  • Industry safety induction (ISI qualification)
  • MR licence
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
  • EWP
  • 4WD training

You will be a quality-driven and self-motivating fitter with a flexible approach to your day-to-day work. Moreover, you will have a positive attitude and have the skills to effectively work with a diverse team who are committed to providing quality outcomes for our clients.
